Job Description

Pedersen's Event Rentals is a family owned business, which has been serving customers in the Victoria area for over 35 years. If you are interested in working as part of a team to provide quality rental equipment to create beautiful events and reduce unnecessary waste, this may be your opportunity.

Duties:

Accurately pack, check, and count-in orders Load and unload cargo from customers' vehicles and delivery vehicle. Largest is a cube van Fluently communicate with customers in English to confirm details and address any concerns Clean and maintain equipment Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries (you'll get help with that) Safely and efficiently transport goods and products to designated locations Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections (oil, tire inflation, lights, etc.)

Skills

:

Communication and customer service skills Ability to lift items up to about 70 lbs. Willingness to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management and organizational skills The ability to juggle different tasks at once in a fast paced environment Strong spatial skills and attention to detail Valid class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record. No special licence required Experience driving in Victoria, BC Experience with automotive maintenance is desirable

Dental and extended health for full-time employees after approx 3 months are fully paid by the employer.
