What You'll Do

As a Warehouse Technician is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse and production facility. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains safety standards, and supports smooth operations to meet customer and organizational needs. The technician is also on duty to fill-in as a shipper and receiver.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Monitor incoming and outgoing goods, verify shipment details, and maintain accurate inventory records. Conduct periodic inventory counts and ensure proper labeling and storage of items.
Order Processing: Assist with picking, packing, and shipping orders to customers. Consolidate shipments and ensure timely delivery.
Return Material Authorization: manage customer returns to ensure products are assessed, repaired and or replaced in a timely manner
Quality Control: Visually inspect incoming goods for defects or damages and escalate issues promptly. Ensure only quality products are stored and shipped.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and mobile lifts. Perform routine checks and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and promote a culture of safety in the warehouse. Adhere to regulatory standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff, functional departments and management to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in warehouse operations or logistics are an asset.
Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred, especially in inventory management and order processing
Technical Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems (GSS) and basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and handle items and perform physical tasks, including standing, sitting and walking for extended periods.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in maintaining records and quality control.
