About the Role

Fluey Trading Inc. is seeking for reliable, detail-oriented

Day Shift Warehouse Team Members

to join our fast-paced food distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have strong order-picking accuracy, experience handling fresh food and meat products, and the ability to work efficiently in cold environments.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment

Pick

customer orders

with

high accuracy

and strong attention to detail. Prepare, stage, and verify

delivery orders

,

pickup orders

, and

walk-in customer orders

. Ensure correct quantities, product rotation (FIFO), and proper handling of perishable goods.

Shipping & Receiving

Assist with

loading and unloading trucks

safely and efficiently. Support

shipping and receiving

functions, including checking paperwork, verifying incoming products, and organizing shipments.

Warehouse Operations

Organize, clean, and maintain

coolers

,

freezers

, and dry storage areas. Perform inventory counts as required. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment. Complete any other relevant warehouse tasks assigned by management.

Customer Service

Assist customers and drivers in a professional and courteous manner. Provide accurate information and help resolve order-related questions.

Requirements

1 year or more

experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (food warehouse experience is an asset).

Comfortable working in low-temperature environments

(cooler/freezer). Ability to

lift 60+ lbs

regularly.

Fluent in English

(reading, writing, and speaking). Strong work ethic:

self-starter, punctual, detail-oriented, reliable

, capable of

multi-tasking

under pressure. Ability to work in a

fast-paced

environment with minimal supervision.

Familiarity with fresh food and meat products

is an asset.

Valid Class 5 Driver's License

(experience driving company vehicles is an asset).

Reliable transportation

required; owning a personal vehicle is an asset. Must be able to attend a

2-3 hour orientation

and

two weeks of on-the-job training

.

This position includes a three-month probationary period.

Schedule & Pay

Day Shift, Monday-Friday

(hours/days are subject to adjustments) Starting

immediately

. Pay: $18 per hour 35-40 hours per week
