West Four Group of Companies Inc. is a Western Canadian leader in supplying building materials, lumber, doors, hardware, and building specialties. Our brands include Security Building Supplies, Madero, Penner Doors & Hardware, and Two Six Creative, with facilities in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

Our Saskatoon Distribution Centre has an opportunity for the right individual to join our team. This person will report to the Operations Manager.

Warehouse duties:

Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipping/pick-up for our customer base.

Loading shipments on our outbound trucks.

Occasionally helping the inbound receiving team when all receiving is complete.

Skidding and labelling inbound shipments.

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

Work safely and abide by OH&S standards/requirements.

Must be available to work the occasional weekend and overtime when required.

Maintain warehouse including putting away stock, sweeping, organizing supplies, and garbage disposal.

Ability to work as part of a team and keep pace in a busy environment.

Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

Skills and Abilities required:

Knowledge and experience in shipping and safe operation of a forklift.

Forklift driver certification

Experience in the door and hardware industry is an asset.

Be physically fit and able to lift large, heavy and bulky objects up to 80lbs without struggle.

Computer skills relating to inventory control.

High attention to detail in all areas of work.

Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Knowledge/familiarity with using a computer is an asset.

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

8 hour shift Monday to Friday
