We are currently looking for a Team Lead to support our new operation: put away, at a position located in Markham, ON. TeamLead will be fully responsible for the safe, high-quality, and productive put-away operations.
Responsibilities:
Follow programs implemented to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and utilization of the facility.
Oversee picking department performance, including daily KPI monitoring and ensure it has been processed. Act as a liaison between Management and front-line employees;
Complete multiple leadership and direct labour tasks with minimal supervision.
Comply with all Health / Safety / Security programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property.
Ensure adequate training of staff. Keep teams up to date with daily operational issues, priorities, and tasks
Train new hires and casual laborers
Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of working experience in a warehouse environment
Fluency in English
Forklift licence as an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
