Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires a strong commitment to safety protocols, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate forklifts Perform order picking tasks accurately. Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring that all items are handled with care. Maintain an organized workspace by properly storing materials and keeping aisles clear. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety guidelines to prevent injuries. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines. Relief Driving and Data Entry as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within warehouse distribution. Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance. Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in handling orders. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.

Pay: $25.00-$26.00 per hour
