Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on, team-focused Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse operations at Formations. You'll oversee shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics, making sure our products are moving efficiently and our space stays safe and organized. You'll also support, coach, and guide a hardworking warehouse team, helping them grow while keeping our distribution process running smoothly.

Direct Reports: Warehouse Associate and Delivery Drivers





What You'll Be Doing:


Leading and supporting your team - including Warehouse Associates, Drivers, and Shippers/Receivers - by setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and building a positive, high-performing work environment Managing inbound and outbound logistics to ensure accurate, on - time shipments and efficient material flow across customers, vendors, and internal branches Overseeing inventory accuracy, handling damaged goods, and coordinating inter-branch transfers to keep stock levels healthy and operations running smoothly Keeping safety front and center, monitoring daily practices, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all protocols are followed Owning the people side - participating in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, performance reviews, and career development planning for your team Collaborating with other departments like Supply Chain, Branch Operations, and fellow Warehouse Supervisors to share insights, solve problems, and align on best practices.




In an Average Week, You Might...


Kick off Monday by leading your toolbox meeting - reviewing safety priorities, assigning tasks, and checking on any weekend deliveries. Connect with your Branch Manager to align on material flow, freight issues, and what's on deck for the week. Walk the floor to check in with your team, jump in on a shipping challenge, and make sure everything is labeled, staged, and stocked properly. Coordinate closely with supply chain and delivery teams to keep schedules on track. Review timecards, approve time off, and handle anything from a quick pep talk to a performance check-in. Mid - week, you might collaborate with other Warehouse Supervisors to share what's working or what needs tweaking and keep standards consistent across branches. Wrap up Friday by reviewing outbound shipments, checking inventory reports, and making sure your warehouse is clean, safe, and ready for Monday. You'll head into the weekend knowing your team is set up for success.




What You Bring:


Minimum 4 years of experience leading warehouse operations in a B2B distribution environment Minimum 4 years of experience training others on forklift operation and safety protocols Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and shipping instructions Comfortable multitasking in a busy warehouse environment with shifting priorities Excellent attention to detail and a focus on quality control Solid math skills including unit conversions, basic calculations, ratios, and percentages Mechanically inclined with the ability to support equipment operation and troubleshooting Skilled in using both imperial and metric measurements Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems (Windows, email, reporting tools) Clear communicator - both written and verbal, in English Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs repeatedly and safely Self-driven and proactive - always looking for ways to improve systems, processes, and team performance
Bonus Points


Previous experience supporting inter-branch logistics or managing aged inventory in B2B Distribution. A track record of mentoring or developing warehouse staff Familiarity with lean warehouse practices or continuous improvement initiatives
