Aquifer Distribution Ltd. is looking to add a Warehouse Supervisor to our growing team in Saskatoon. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising department staff while ensuring efficient operations including the receipt, storage, picking, and shipping of products. This role focuses on frontline coordination of staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, training team members, and promoting a safe and organized work environment. The Warehouse Supervisor supports process improvements, monitors workflow and productivity, and ensures team members follow operational and safety procedures. By improving processes and driving efficiency with a focus on safety, this role leads a productive team environment and supports the overall success of warehouse operations and customer service.

What you can expect from the job:



As a Warehouse Supervisor, your hours will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday. Occasional Saturday scheduling will be required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Supervise and delegate the warehouse team to ensure efficient receiving, handling, distribution, and storage of all products and supplies. Oversee timely and accurate product receiving, including shipment verification, damage inspection, and restocking procedures. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase warehouse productivity. Monitor operational costs (labor, equipment, shipping) and apply cost-saving strategies while maintaining high performance standards. Ensure warehouse staff are trained and compliant with safety procedures, including PPE use, emergency protocols, and equipment operation. Conduct safety walkthroughs, enforce hazard identification practices, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Investigate safety incidents, assess risks, and implement corrective and preventive measures to maintain a safe work environment. Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records to maintain accuracy. Communicate inventory issues, such as low stock levels or backorders, to support timely purchasing decisions. Set and manage employee performance targets, deliver constructive feedback, and address performance concerns promptly. Facilitate ongoing training and development in operational procedures, product knowledge, and skill-building. Collaborate with Human Resources on personnel matters including attendance, performance, conduct, and policy adherence.

What is required:



Minimum grade 12 graduate

Relevant warehouse experience

Strong background in supervising teams

Safety mindset

Basic computer skills required

Valid drivers license required

Must be a high energy individual - will be required to be on your feet for most of the day, some heavy lifting will also be necessary

Experience operating a forklift

Shipping and receiving experience
