As a Warehouse Supervisor at Reliable Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of our Warehouse across all departments.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all functions. This role covers multiple areas including sortation, cross-docking, shipping, receiving, processing, maintenance, security, ordering, and reporting.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise, delegate, and support daily warehouse operations across all departments.
Plan, organize, and monitor staffing, workload, and workflow to meet operational targets.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and security.
Oversee and support inventory management, ordering, and material handling.
Monitor team performance, provide coaching/training, and conduct evaluations.
Create, maintain, and analyze Excel-based tools, trackers, and reports to support operations.
Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports and records.
Collaborate with management and other departments to improve efficiency and resolve issues.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-control measures.
Perform other related duties as required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
Access to reliable transportation
Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
Mental and visual concentration during work requires focusing during shift.
Ability to perform multiple, repetitive tasks with sustained hand-eye movements during shift.
Exposure to Warehouse floor environment to noise and dust.
Ability to work on weekends or extended hours during peak times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory level experience, preferably in a 3PL environment.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a certified forklift operator, with hands-on experience operating Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Order Picker, and Walkie Rider forklifts.
Strong knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and inventory control.
Strong computer skills, especially Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams and capable of learning new functions easily.
Ability to work within deadlines and to work pro-actively
Working knowledge of Provincial and Federal Health & Safety regulations and best practices in warehousing and/or distribution environments.
Familiarity with Lean and 5S principles and methodologies.
Valid forklift certification required.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
