SW Event Technology and Showtime Event & Display is a leading supplier of Event and Tradeshow services with regional offices located throughout British Columbia. We are rapidly growing and expanding our operations and are in need of new talented team members to help contribute to our success. We are currently seeking a full time (30-40 hours weekly) Warehouse Supervisor in BC Interior.

Job Summary:

As an SW & Showtime Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for the warehouse organization, functionality, the equipment, inventory tracking and storage capabilities within. You will be responsible for receiving and shipping in and out of the warehouse, supervising crews who assist you in prepping large shows and ensuring that show preps are complete and set aside for loading. This role will include oversight for rentals being picked up and returned to the warehouse including loading and unloading trucks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepping, loading and unloading gear for upcoming events and completing required paperwork. Loading and unloading of equipment to and from trucks Driving of company's large trucks. Maintenance of warehouse (Organizing equipment, inventory control, cleanliness, etc.) Pickup and return of customer rentals. Quarterly inventory counts Inventory / asset tracking and control Supervising small groups of employees in a warehouse setting Pick up & return of rental trucks as needed Various other duties as required and requested by regional & operations managers.

Qualifications:

Must have previous warehouse experience Previous Warehouse Management experience an asset Experience supervising small team (up to 10 people) High School Education Strong communication, critical thinking and analytical skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Willingness and ability to work some flexible hours (occasional nights/ weekends) Professional attitude and work ethic Ability to problem solve under pressure Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent Some experience operating larger delivery trucks & forklift an asset Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
