The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating logistics activities, and collaborating with production, procurement, and quality control teams to support seamless manufacturing operations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices.


This is a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse within the manufacturing environment of Due North. This position ensures the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, components, and finished goods, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and productivity.

Schedule - Tuesday to Friday 5:45am-4:30pm

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Manage stock control: the goods receipt, storage, retrieval and timely picking of goods, document recording and data entry into system. Compute amounts, such as space available & storage. Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications Confer with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities, such as production, sales, and purchasing Ensure circle checks are completed for all lifting devices, were applicable, according to Due North's Lift Truck Operating Policy Ensure circle checks are completed daily for our Minus Forty Straight Truck and all Safety Documentation is maintained and kept up to date according to the MTO. Ensure products or materials have adequate estimates for quantities or weights in the Due North system and the type of container required for storage or transport. Arrange for efficient and localized storage of incoming materials Implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities Manage the inspection of materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions Monitor all product locations to provide the least amount of walking and report any concerns to your manager Monitor pickup and delivery of products or materials Respond to customers' or team member questions and complaints regarding warehouse services Review picking orders and forecasts in order to estimate peak delivery periods Review production schedules and orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints Ensure that cyclical and weekly, monthly, and annual stock checks are undertaken and are accurate. Investigate and Report on any warehouse issues for damaged or missing stock. Ensure all aisle ways in the Plant are kept clear and all boxes in use have their flaps cut off to ensure easy access and an organized appearance. Issue inventory reports to the Manufacturing Plant Director and the Production Coordinator and produce various internal KPI reports. Remain current with the latest warehouse and operations technology systems and procedures.

You Have

High School, G.E.D., post-secondary education preferred Extensive knowledge in a shipping/receiving warehouse environment * Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced shipping/receiving warehouse environment
