These companies specialize in the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead doors, dock levelers, and related equipment for commercial and industrial facilities.

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated

Warehouse & Shop Operative

to join our team. This full-time position involves a variety of warehouse, inventory, and delivery responsibilities, supporting both day-to-day operations and job site preparations. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes initiative with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and count inventory regularly. Prepare and stage jobs for outgoing delivery. Unload shipments and organize stock efficiently. Transfer inventory and equipment between locations using a connected trailer. Deliver materials and equipment to job sites. Deliver materials between intercompany branches within the GTA and surrounding area. Perform weekly delivery runs between Brampton and Kingston Door Doctor branches. Formulate and execute shop organization and space utilization plans. Dispose of garbage and scrap materials appropriately. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in a warehouse or shop environment is

required

. Experience in the

Door/Dock industry

is an

asset

. Valid

G-class driver's license

is

required

.

Forklift certification

is

required

. Must be able to tow and operate a connected trailer. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Must be a dependable self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work

overtime

when required. Must own

Steel Toe CSA-certified safety shoes

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Additional Requirements:

Must have a

reliable commute

to Brampton, ON or plan to relocate before starting.
