Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Winnipeg. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient shipping and receiving of our fire safety products, contributing to our mission of delivering quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and reach trucks for loading and unloading materials. Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working environment. Manage shipping and receiving processes using warehouse management systems. Ensure accurate order fulfillment and packaging of products. Safely and efficiently perform loading and unloading activities. Maintain inventory levels and assist with warehouse organization. Work closely with operations, sales, accounting and purchasing with regards to all aspects of inventory control and management. Perform basic math calculations for inventory management. Adhere to safety protocols while handling equipment and materials. Any other related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

HIgh school diploma Forklift experience 5 years of proven experience in warehouse operations, particularly in shipping and receiving. Ability of effectively communicate with co-workers and customers in a professional and courteous manner. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP software. Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office applications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic math skills for inventory tracking. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. Basic English language proficiency in reading and writing.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
