The Role:
The Shipper Receiver position supports the daily operations of the warehouse, including shipping and receiving, product labeling and packaging and other related operations. The successful individual will maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in day-to-day tasks to provide impeccable customer service to our clients. Inventory checks and counts will be required daily as well as regularly communicating via email and phone with other branches to ensure priority demands are met. Knowledge and experience in warehouse shipping, receiving and basic operations are key to success in this role. Experience with AX inventory system, or comparable is an asset.

Responsibilities:
Support the management of the warehouse in compliance with the company's policies and vision
Ability to complete tasks and mange priorities without supervision
Receiving, warehouse stocking and organization, shipping and operations as directed
Organizing daily carrier pickups managing priorities and rush requests
Work to maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked warehouse each day
Product labeling, assembly and inventory activities as directed
Properly stock items in bins - and continual replenishment of bins as product is picked
Pick and prepare orders for both pick up customers and shipment- ensuring accuracy and all account specific shipping guidelines and details are followed explicitly
Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements as directed
Follow all company rules and regulations
Ensure a high level of urgency and accuracy accompany all work activities as directed
Identify and communicate opportunities to improve systems and procedures to drive efficiency and accuracy as appropriate
Communicate regularly with our BC branch and regional sales staff ensure priorities are being met and issues are identified, shared and resolved
Maintain general housekeeping, organization and structure to daily operations as directed
Execute activities and tasks to support the effective functioning of the warehouse and inventory management needs as directed
Qualifications:
Forklift certification and familiarity with other warehouse equipment strongly preferred
Reliability, must have the means to arrive for work each day on time
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational, problem-solving and ability to follow directions
Strong attention to detail, time management and ability to meet assigned deadlines
Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environment. Willing to assist in evolving business needs
Ability to work quickly and accurately and ensure all variables are considered
Solid technical skills including Microsoft Office and the ability to utilize inventory systems comfortably
Proven ability to support process improvement initiatives
Hands on experience with inbound and outbound inventory transactions
Physical Demands:
The team member is required to stand for long periods of time, as well as frequently walking, lifting moving, climbing, carrying, kneeling, crawling, bending, reaching, handling, pushing and pulling.
Ability to lift 75 pounds.
