Position Overview
The primary duties of this position are to ensure that all shipments leave the facility efficiently and arrive to our members without any issues. This position may require working in a variety of days and hours or cross training in other areas. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: walking, standing, lifting, climbing, reaching, pushing and pulling; as well as working in the fridge from time to time.
Shipping and staging orders accurately and in a timely manner by following the policies, procedures and existing guidelines.
Pick, pack and complete dangerous goods paperwork.
Ensuring that route manifests and site close are created timely.
Contact carrier dispatch and/or drivers for order pick up.
Maintaining and updating all internal mailing/shipment and other shipping systems.
Ensure every container shipped has a label printed up and put on each container or skid.
Populate the shift note and attendance criteria thoroughly and accurately before emailing the internal group.
Make decisions and direct staff in the absence of a Leadhand.
Operation of power pallet trucks, forklifts and aerial lift.
Experience:
1 to 2 years of Warehouse and/or industry related experience.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
This position is physically demanding and can require some heavy lifting (e.g. up to 50 pounds).
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma
Other Qualifications:
Certifications in TDG, forklift, pallet truck and aerial lift considered an asset.
Familiarity with warehouse management software ASC, is an asset.
Knowledge of warehouse equipment: RF hand held scanners.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle logistics-related challenges.
Must have access to reliable transportation, including availability outside of regular public transit hours.

Schedule:
Sunday 1:00 - 9:30 pm and Monday to Thursday 2:45 - 11:15 pm. Must be able to work OT as required.
