The role:

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking to add a Warehouse Shipper & Receiver to our Fortified Nutrition team in Morden Manitoba. In this role you will be responsible for the flow and organization of all inbound and outbound shipments into and out of the warehouse. You will also help with mixing and packaging bulk and bagged premixes in our feed mill.
This is a permanent full-time position based out of our production facility 30091 Hwy 3, Morden Manitoba. The regular working hours for this position are Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Starting wage is between $21-$24/hour and you will also receive benefits, vacation and RRSP matching upon starting.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Accurately receive large quantities of bag and bulk ingredients and correctly organize and put away stock.
  • Ensure that the highest level of accuracy and consistency is taken with documentation.
  • Pick and prepare orders for customer pickups and outbound shipments including third party orders.
  • Assist with loading bulk and bag delivery trucks.
  • Keep the entire warehouse facility maintained, organized, and looking clean and tidy which includes cleaning, sweeping floors, picking up garbage, outside grounds clean up and regular forklift and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist with ingredient inventory control and inventory counts.
  • Interact with customers, salespeople, delivery people and other staff on site.
  • Various other duties including moving ingredients, filling micro and tote bins, packaging premix into totes and paper bags, creating pallet labels and shrink-wrapping skids.
  • Other duties as determined from time to time by supervisor.

Experience we like:
  • 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating a forklift.
  • Physical strength, manual dexterity, and precise hand/eye coordination with the ability to continuously lift and move 25kg.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication.
  • Knowledge of livestock nutrition industry is an asset.
