Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator/Warehouse Receiver/Order Picker to join our team at Fabco Plastics in Acheson.

We are looking for experienced warehouse associates who will jump in to fulfill all warehouse responsibilities, to find solutions for internal and external customers. Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload materials from trucks and containers. Move products to designated areas within the warehouse. Maintain accurate inventory records through order picking and stock management. Match product received to packing slips, perform data entry of goods received, and place stock in proper location. Prepare bills of lading or courier bills, and research to select the most cost efficient and reliable carrier. Pick, pack, weigh and label outgoing orders to ensure goods are securely packed. Ability to track inventory, and to complete cycle counts independently. Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues promptly. Maintain a neat and tidy workspace and warehouse. Work overtime, when required. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

2+ years of proven Warehouse experience as a Forklift Operator, Receiving, Order Picking, and Shipping responsibilities. Ability to lift heavy loads safely (up to 50 lbs on a regular basis), and over 50 lbs on an occassional basis. This position requires a physically able person who is required to bend, crouch, kneal, reach above and below, climb stairs and ladders, twist, lift, push and pull, from the ground level to overhead. Other tasks may include sweeping, shoveling and other yard maintenance. Excellent math skills for inventory management tasks. Intermediate computer experience is required for data entry and email. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an asset. Strong attention to detail and excellent corganizational skills. A positive attitude, and excellent customer services skills. Work outdoors year round. Preference will be given to applicants with a valid forklift operator certification, and to those with recent receiving, and order picking experience.
