Job Summary:

The Warehouse Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment in a timely and efficient manner. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring customer satisfaction through the precise handling of products and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pick items from inventory based on order tickets or electronic picking systems. Verify product numbers, quantities, and descriptions against order forms. Prepare items for shipment including packaging, labeling, and palletizing. Maintain clean and organized picking areas to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist with restocking shelves and organizing warehouse inventory as needed. Work closely with shipping, receiving, and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations. Report discrepancies or damaged products to supervisors immediately. Operate pallet jacks or forklifts as required (certification preferred or provided). Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse or order picking experience (at least 1 year required). Ability to read and interpret work orders and instructions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods. Must be a reliable team player with a strong work ethic. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Work Environment:

Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
