WAREHOUSE LOADER

Position Description

This role is responsible for the picking and loading delivery materials onto our delivery trucks, putting away stock and servicing walk up traffic. Materials include prehung interior doors, baseboard, casing, sheets etc.

Key

Duties and Responsibilities

Ability to lift and move heavy product, equipment and supplies on a daily basis

Required to assist with customer pick-ups and returns

Maintain and secure a clean, organized, and safe warehouse/work environment

Required to have working knowledge of basic carpentry or handyman practices

Remove snow in the winter months to maintain a safe work environment

Must be able to manage time effectively to ensure deliveries are met

Qualifications

Required to have a strong attention to detail and an ability to interpret and process data accurately

Must be highly attentive to numbers, details and organization

Must have the ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities while maintaining a professional and positive attitude

Demonstrated success as a strong team player that takes pride in their work and always maintains a professional image

Experience with counter-balance forklift is considered an asset

Knowledge of basic carpentry or handyman practices is considered an asset

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be reliable and have the ability to work with minimal supervision

The successful candidate will be motivated to perform other duties and tasks as required
