Warehouse Operator Intern, Millstone Crop Services

With a proud tradition of being a Canadian, family-owned and managed agri-business, Millstone Crop Services are involved in the Crop Input Business including sales of fertilizer, seed and crop protection products while also sourcing and merchandising all grains including wheat, white beans, soybeans, IP soybeans and corn. Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Truck scale operation ;
• Grading and handling grain;
• Daily inventory control;
• Assisting customers in loading seed, fertilizer and chemicals by efficiently moving the products from staging and/or storage areas into trailers and/or customer vehicles.

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

• Enrolled in a degree or diploma program, in an Agriculture related field
• Experience or background in the agriculture industry would be an asset
• Must have basic computer knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 comfortable using Microsoft Office
• Must be able to work in most outdoor conditions;
• Must be able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently;
• Demonstrated commitment to working safely while ensuring the safety of others
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and trouble shooting skills
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary
