Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts and cranes.

Duties

Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes to move products within the warehouse efficiently. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and order fulfillment. Conduct order picking and packaging to prepare items for shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials as required. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy equipment.

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of warehouse distribution processes. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes is essential. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues. Familiarity with order picking, packaging, shipping & receiving processes is required. Experience with AS400 or similar warehouse management systems is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for maintaining inventory accuracy. A background in manufacturing or construction may be beneficial for understanding operational workflows.
