Aer Rianta International Inc. is a leading operator of duty-free shops in international airports.

About the position:

Reporting to the Retail Store Manager, the Warehouse Merchandiser will help with the daily operations of both the duty-free store and the warehouse. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse functions to ensure smooth daily activities. Additionally, they will assist the customer service team in maximising sales by providing excellent customer service.

Schedule:

Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays( 8-4 on weekends and 1 day during the week)

This is what your day will look like:

Greet customers with courtesy and professionalism. Ensure customers receive all the information and assistance they are entitled to and engage in cross-selling when appropriate. Ensure proper rotation of all products and verify that all merchandise is correctly priced and labelled. Process transactions at the cash register and deliver parcels to the designated gates. Assist with physical inventory counting as needed. Perform any other related tasks as required to support operations. Oversee all shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Participate in regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records. Accurately prepare and verify shipping manifests and related documentation. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all company documents, data, and statistics. Ensure all units meet legal and company compliance standards. Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are well-organised and visible. Collect and dispose of cardboard and packaging materials to maintain a clean workspace.

Do you have what it takes?

Secondary School Diploma. Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field. Customer service oriented. Forklift certification (asset). Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends. Proficient in using a computer. Ability to lift objects weighing between 20 to 30 kg. Professional attitudes and behaviour such as teamwork, autonomy, dynamism, honesty, versatility, precision and proactive. Must possess reliable transportation. Good communication and interpersonal communication skills in English.

As this position is located in an airport area, candidates must meet specific criteria. They must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada and not have spent more than six months abroad in the last five years. Please note that our interview process does not extend internationally and no relocation assistance is offered.
