Warehouse Merchandise Handler

for our

Edmonton Distribution Centre

located at

11343 189 St NW.





As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler, you will be responsible for handling products in any or all sub-departments in the warehouse according to the product floor procedures.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler, you will:


Load and unload products from both inbound and outbound trailers. Follow all Deck rules and guidelines posted in the Distribution Centre. Open, assemble, and ship prep designated products for home delivery. Wrap and assemble all proceeded products from the returns processing area. Assist with guest pick-ups. Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules. Process all recycled materials and dispose of all waste.

As a successful candidate you will have the following:




High school diploma, GED or equivalent skills and experience. Previous warehouse experience. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn in-house computer programs. High attention to detail. Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills. Well organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic environment. Ability to effectively use the radio scanner (RF) gun. Good verbal communication skills. Lift truck certification or ability to take and pass the company's certified training. Good physical condition with stamina to lift at least 50 - 100 pounds. Able to conduct physical work in warm and cold conditions. Able to meet flexible schedule requirements, including evenings and weekends. Able to operate various equipment (dock levellers, hand trucks, cardboard baler, garbage baler, etc.) * Available to work overtime as required.
