We are currently seeking a

General Warehouse Associate

to join our Vancouver team. The successful candidate will assist with general warehouse duties efficiently and accurately.

More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to

:

Provide superior customer service and retrieve orders. Assist in gathering materials to build loads/orders. Assist truck drivers to load various building supplies onto trucks for delivery. Operate the forklifts once training and certification has been achieved. Help unload transport trucks with product. Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) software for inventory tracking and order processing. Practice proper material handling techniques to ensure minimal damage to inventory. Keep the workspace area clean and presentable in appearance.

Requirements :

Current Forklift Certification. Good knowledge of safe working procedures. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding work environment. Professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service. Must have a positive attitude and be a team player. Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years previous warehouse work experience. Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills. Dependable and reliable. RF Scanner and WMS software experience preferred. Experience and knowledge in building materials.
