WAREHOUSE MATERIAL HANDLER

SASKATOON, SK

Warehouse Material Handlers assemble orders for customers and delivery units. Responsibilities also include sorting, counting, and organizing materials in the warehouses and outdoor storage yard in all weather conditions.



Load, unload and move building materials manually and using various material handling equipment. Conduct inspections, paperwork, cycle counting Place building materials into designated warehouse/yard positions Pick/assemble customer/delivery orders Operate mid to large size sit-down counterbalance propane forklift trucks Serve "Pick Up" Customers Load/unload trucks Perform warehouse housekeeping duties Take photos of incoming deliveries and customer pick-ups

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid forklift license Previous experience working in a warehouse Previous experience operating a sit-down counterbalance propane forklift Able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs for extended periods Able to regularly stand, bend, lift and move repeatedly during shifts Strong written and verbal communication skills Successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening Satisfactory criminal record check Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

WORKING CONDITIONS:

No shift work No Sundays Full-time, year-round employment Physically demanding work (lifting heavy, bulky building materials including drywall and roofing supplies) Includes both indoor and outdoor yard work in all weather conditions
