Warehouse Manager/driver/laborer
Job Description
Looking for a motivated employee at a small construction supply company based in Aldersyde. Days will range from very physically demanding to more admin focused. Candidates can expect a mix of working with other employees and also solo. Hourly Rate will depend on ability to take on managerial responsibilities.
Daily tasks include:
Deliveries to customers within and around the outskirts of Calgary
Same-day and/or overnight deliveries to Edmonton and surrounding areas (10-14hr days)
All deliveries are with commercially licensed vehicles, ability to operate with a 30+ foot trailer is a must
Answering phones and interacting face-to-face with customers
Forklift Operation (can accommodate certification if needed)
Use of computer software for invoicing, retail sales and inventory
Shipping/Receiving
Obtaining quotes and preparing items for shipping
Receiving deliveries (forklift experience needed)
Maintaining an organized warehouse
Requirements
Clean Driver Abstract (3+ years commercial experience a bonus)
Ability to multitask and perform warehouse duties while interacting with walk-in customers
Lift 100+lbs items
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$38.00 per hour
