Pet Food 'N More is a family owned company that has been serving our local communities for over 35 years and we understand that pets are part of people's families. Our stores have thousands of high-quality products covering food, treats, accessories, toys and all the "more" you could ask for to keep your furry companions happy and healthy. Our 14,000 square foot Distribution Warehouse supplies our 7 lower Mainland stores and is located in south Surrey.

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to manage our warehouse and staff. It is a small 3 person operation and an involved position. Your job will be to manage the warehouse, the other team members and to drive the delivery truck.

The requirements to fulfill this position are:

Have a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years on your driver's abstract Have or are required to attain an Air Brake Endorsement certification on your license. If the course is needed, the company will contribute upon completion. Be able to lift 50lbs repetitively Have a Grade 12 education or equivalent Be able to complete tasks and projects in a set time frame Have good organizational and leadership skills Have the ability to manage people and multitask
Team members in this position must fulfill, but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and follow safety procedures Receive and stock products Accurately pick, pack and ship orders on a schedule Drive the Delivery Truck Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, a forklift and walkie reach. Training will be provided. Manage projects and people Do inventory and expiry checks Preform equipment checks and maintenance Process store returns and transfers Maintain a weekly schedule while adapting to random changes
As a Pet Food 'N More team member you will receive competitive wages and work in a respectful and supportive environment. You will generally work a Monday to Friday daytime schedule of 40 hours a week with occasional evening or weekend additions. After 90 days a staff discount will be available. Training on equipment and opportunities to take on new tasks and responsibilities will be available.
