Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of warehouse processes, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including order picking, shipping, and receiving. Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts to facilitate effective order fulfillment. Oversee the operation of heavy equipment such as cranes and reach trucks to ensure safe handling of materials. Implement best practices for warehouse organization and layout to maximize efficiency. Train and mentor warehouse staff on operational procedures and safety protocols. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in productivity and efficiency. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the supply chain.

Skills

Proficiency in order picking techniques and familiarity with order fulfillment processes. Experience operating heavy equipment, including cranes and reach trucks. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing warehouse operations. Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures to ensure timely delivery of goods. Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and coordinate with other departments. Ability to build strong relationships with team members while fostering a positive work environment.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
