We're looking to enhance our team by welcoming a new
Warehouse Manager
to the Warehouse Team.
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure seamless support for production, accurate inventory management, and efficient shipping and receiving. This role manages the warehouse team, ensuring materials and finished goods are handled accurately, on time, and in compliance with GMP, food safety, and health & safety standards. The Warehouse Manager also manages 3PL relationships, tracks key performance metrics (including order accuracy, fill rates, and on-time delivery), and drives continuous improvement initiatives to optimize space, efficiency, and service levels. In addition, the role provides leadership in workforce planning, training, performance management, and recruitment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet production and customer demands.
Job Duties:
All Taste of Nature Foods Inc. employees must abide by and follow the company's Food Safety / H&S policies and procedures to produce safe, legal, and quality products.
Warehouse Operations Support
Ensure that production ingredients are stored in accordance with the allergen management program.
Ensure coordination of all ingredients for the production manufacturing lines in accordance with the food safety programs.
Ensure that all items taken to the production line are as ordered - item number, lot number, quantity, location, and on time.
Ensure all excess supply of materials are cleared out from Production and returned promptly and correctly.
Ensure all finished goods pallets from the production lines are promptly wrapped, identified, and properly recorded in the ERP system.
Lead the management of all internal and external Food Safety Audits and Annual Cycle Count Third party audits.
Train, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff, assign tasks, and manage their performance to meet operational and performance goals.
Work with maintenance team to manage periodic maintenance of MHEs.
Receiving and Shipping
Ensure prompt receipt and put away of materials, both physically and in the ERP system.
Ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders, including e-commerce orders.
Ensure complete and on time order fulfillment.
Work closely with the customer service manager and procurement manager to maintain positive relationship and communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customer regarding logistical issues.
Plan and manage the movement of goods, including coordinating with suppliers and transport companies, optimizing delivery routes, and tracking shipments.
Inventory Management
Conduct physical counts, implement cycle counting, and reconcile inventory data to maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring there is enough product to meet demand without overstocking.
Ensure timely and accurate inventory reconciliation for our 3 internal warehouses and our 3PL partners.
Ensure that the production inventory requirement is verified 48 hours prior to production, and all shortage are reported to appropriate stakeholder.
Ensure all GMP Daily and Weekly audits are completed, and deviation are reported and corrected.
Conduct occasional 3PL virtual audit and onsite audits to verify traceability and accuracy of all inventories.
Create and manage process flow of materials between 3PLs, external & internal warehouses to effectively manage storage space.
Be the SME for warehouse & inventory modules (including WMS) & be able to train his team during the implementation of new ERP .
Key Performance Metrics
Manage customer service KPIs - Order fill rate, On-time shipping, Order accuracy, etc.
Develop a list of the critical KPIs needed for warehousing and determine the best way to measure them and frequency.
Make actions to demonstrate continuous improvement.
Establish and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment, comply with all relevant laws and regulations, and manage security procedures.
Manage our I-Warehouse our Warehouse Management System and create weekly report and weekly review of incident and deviations.
Develop and implement operational policies, analyze logistics patterns and trends, and use metrics like warehouse capacity and on-time delivery to identify opportunities for improvement.
Supervisory Responsibility
Manage the Warehouse Workforce on all 3 shifts (Day, Afternoon, Night).
Responsible for compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and Food Safety Regulations.
Monitor staff performance on an individual and team basis.
Ensure warehouse staff levels meet workload requirements.
Make recommendations on required skills, numbers, shifts of staff.
Responsible for all hiring responsibilities for warehouse team.

Qualifications / Skills:
5-8 years of Warehouse Management experience.
Need to have a car and a valid driver's license to travel between warehouses and office.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in warehouse procedures, logistics software, and inventory management systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with a minimum of three years of experience managing 10+ employees across 3 operational shifts.
Ability to make decisions under pressure and work independently or as part of a team.
Experience with X3 and/or Fidelio an asset.
Experience deploying new ERP system an asset.
Superior organizational skills.
Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
Knowledge of logistics, including carriers, shipping policies and procedures.
Demonstrated success managing inventory, including auditing, forecasting, and planning.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, inventory/warehouse management and distribution software.
