Job Description

Telecon is seeking a dynamic, career-oriented individual to join our rapidly growing team as a Warehouse Manager.
Based in Anjou, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and continuous improvement of three facilities, including direct supervision of staff at the Trois-Rivieres and Quebec City sites. This role ensures effective operational management to guarantee safe, efficient, and cost-effective warehouse operations, while working closely with operations teams to support daily execution, achieve service-level objectives, and ensure consistent performance across all sites. The position requires regular travel between the three locations to provide on-site leadership and support.
This position requires the candidate to be fully bilingual in French and English in order to support both French- and English-speaking clients. This skill is required on a daily basis and includes the ability to read, write, and speak fluently in both languages.
YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Ensures products and equipment are properly shipped and received, from a physical and administrative standpoint, in a timely manner
  • Tracks inventory and inventory outflows for the fulfillment of contracts and for customer equipment.
  • Manages customer and Telecon equipment
  • Prioritizes and improves health and safety work methods (ensures that current processes are followed and implements new processes)
  • Establishes, improves and adapts work methods where necessary, following verifications with the Manager and the operators
  • Makes sure that the warehouse is always adequately staffed during operating hours
  • Finds solutions to warehouse operations issues as needed
  • Ensures that a response system is in place for emergencies and last-minute requests
  • Sends all purchasing requisitions to the Purchasing department
  • Implements and standardizes warehouse processes at the corporate level
  • Performs all other tasks related to supervising the warehouse and yard
  • Works with the center's Purchasing division to maintain steady provisioning and rotation of Telecon equipment.
Employee Management
  • Manages employees in accordance with the company's human resources management processes
  • Provides ongoing coaching and support to employees
  • Ensures that the team is always performing optimally
  • Supports the hiring process for warehouse personnel
  • Evaluates the performance of employees under his or her responsibility as per the performance cycle
Operations Support
  • Establishes good interdepartmental relationships and understands the needs of internal customers
  • Upholds company policies and procedures
  • Prioritizes customer service
  • Ensures that optimal coverage is provided to operators
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
  • Post-secondary education in administration, logistics management or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years' experience in a similar capacity
  • General knowledge of telecommunications
  • Knowledge of WMS systems
  • Strong technical computer skills and understanding of MS Office Suite
  • Team management experience (3 to 4 people)
  • Change management experience considered an asset
  • Knowledge and experience with an ERP system (SAP, MS Dynamics, Oracle) considered an asset
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time in Quebec (Montreal, Anjou and Quebec City) for business purposes
  • Ability and willingness to travel in Canada for business
