Identify and solicit potential clients Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service Prepare and administer sales contracts Use sales forecasting software Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff Resolve product and service related problems Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists
