Job Summary



The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations at

Ameri-Connect Freight Services Inc.

This role ensures freight is handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while supporting customer service expectations and business growth. The Warehouse Manager leads the warehouse team, manages WMS activity, supports new client onboarding, and works closely with Operations and Dispatch to keep freight moving on time.

Key Responsibilities



Manage daily warehouse operations to meet service, productivity, and safety goals. Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff; set expectations and hold the team accountable. Ensure freight is received, stored, and moved safely and correctly in line with company and OSHA requirements. Promote a strong safety culture through training, enforcement, and hands-on leadership. Coordinate closely with Operations and Dispatch to meet pickup, delivery, and customer commitments. Support onboarding of new warehouse clients, including setting up processes, space planning, and operating procedures. Oversee use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory, freight tracking, and reporting. Assist with WMS setup, client configuration, and ongoing system improvements. Monitor performance and make practical improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors. Maintain inventory accuracy, manage freight flow, and use warehouse space effectively. Handle service issues, damages, shortages, and discrepancies with a customer-focused approach. Ensure warehouse equipment and facilities are maintained and support safe, efficient operations. Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, customers, and vendors. Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications



3-5 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience, preferably in a 3PL, logistics, or transportation environment. Solid understanding of warehouse operations, freight handling, and inventory control. Experience leading teams and managing labor in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on experience using a WMS; experience supporting client onboarding or system setup is a plus. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications preferred. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
