We are a small ISO-registered medical device manufacturer located in east Toronto. We are experiencing multiple years of double-digit sales growth and are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Job Summary:



We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing inventory, and leading a team to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment. The Warehouse Lead should possess strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a solid understanding of warehouse processes. Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, and verbalization) are essential, along with the ability to interpret shipping and receiving documentation. Prior experience with inventory management systems, safety protocols, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, including shipment receiving, inventory labeling, storage and material handling of Production Parts, Raw Material, Returned Products (RA), and Finished Goods. Ensure key processes in warehouse which encompass parts receiving, parts storage, material transfers, parts picking, FIFO stock rotation, and part disposition are executed and documented within ERP system (SAP B1) to support data integrity. Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities and facilitate changes to warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and align with department goals. Coordinate team member tasks and delegate resources to support other departments, including Shipping, Production, Incoming QC, Fabrication, and Customer Service. Communicate with warehouse staff on a regular basis to make sure they understand priorities, targets and operational requirements. Oversee the safe and efficient operation of all warehouse equipment. Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed. Maintain documentation related to shipments, inventory, and safety incidents. Assist in the training and supervision of warehouse staff and temporary workers. Ensure that Raz Design maintains compliance with Canadian Occupation Health and Safety Standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Maintain 5S principle in the warehouse and loading dock area to promote safety and operational efficiency. Participate in regular safety audits and team meetings to promote a safe work environment. Ensure action items from audit findings are completed in a timely basis.

Qualifications:



University / college degree or equivalent. Certifications in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Logistics, Production & Inventory Control or Safety preferred. Minimum three (3) or more years of proven lead / supervisory experience in Warehouse, Inventory Management, Logistics, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Strong working experience with inventory management software and MS Office applications. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations. Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, initiative, with attention to detail. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Comfortable to work collaboratively with all levels and functions of the company. Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal in English. Experience with SAP B1, Production and Inventory Control, Formal Problem-Solving Methodologies, and Lean Methodologies is a definite asset. Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment; valid certification preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks routinely. Valid driver's license preferred.
