Company Description: Quantus is a new warehouse in the Oakville-Burlington area that supports the pharmaceutical industry by providing logistics and distribution services Warehouse Lead & Key responsibilities:

  • Ensures that product is picked, checked, packed and shipped according to established standards and procedures.
  • Ensures the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized and efficient work area.
  • A good understanding of work procedures, work schedules and workflow, assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Accurate and timely reporting and record keeping; ability to interpret data
  • Conducts regular meetings with colleagues to discuss results of data analysis and corrective actions to be implemented.
  • Ability to assist in fostering and driving a team-based environment.
\xc2\xb7 Ensures that staff have the appropriate equipment and tools necessary to perform their roles.
  • Responsible for employee training, allocating and directing work.
\xc2\xb7 Investigates and resolves operational issues as they develop. \xc2\xb7 Manage and Track inventory levels \xc2\xb7 This is a floor position and will involve physically moving/processing products. Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. \xc2\xb7 Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. \xc2\xb7 Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. \xc2\xb7 Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; daily cycle counts; reconciling with data storage system. \xc2\xb7 Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement. \xc2\xb7 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Skills & Qualification The successful candidate is a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic team player Competencies:
  • At least 5 years relevant experience . Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Consumer Packaged goods and Food preferred.
  • Forklift use and certification required
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Good communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Developed interpersonal skills, good team player.
  • Be knowledgeable about Health & Safety Legislation
  • Knowledgeable and skilled at using a warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Thorough knowledge of third-party logistics services and processes.
