Workforce Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator for a local client in the Timmins area. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you would be primarily responsible for the unloading, storing, and shipping of goods to keep the warehouse running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Unload, receive, and store goods and materials procured by the company
• Issue goods and materials from inventory as well as document, load, and ship material off site
• Ensure accuracy of all transactions and conduct assigned inventory counts
• Responsible for the receiving of all goods procured by the company
• Must ensure accuracy of goods received
• Responsible for the accurate tagging of all goods received
• Must report all deficiencies to the vendor and the Warehouse Supervisor and Account Payable to resolve the issue in a timely manner
• Contact end user on receipt of Direct Charge shipments and ensure items are picked up or delivered in a timely manner
• Keep accurate filing system of all documentation for future reference
• Provide accurate information on all aspects of the inventory status to other company personnel as requested, or redirect the inquiry to other warehouse personnel if unable to provide the requested info
• Must maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment
• Must adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures as they apply to their job functions (ie PPE, circle checks, etc)
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Diploma or relevant experience
• Working knowledge of legislation requirements under Transportation of Dangerous Goods act
• 1-3 years of warehouse experience is considered an asset
• Forklift operators\xe2\x80\x99 certificate is considered an asset
• Working knowledge of PC software is required

Pay Rate: $25-$28 commensurate with experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
