The
Equipment Warehouse Labourer /Driver
is required to perform tasks involving physical labour at our area Tool and Equipment Yard and commercial construction projects. The Equipment Warehouse labourer / Driver is required to assist with Cleaning tools and equipment,, maintaining an organized warehouse and yard, and delivery of tools, material and small equipment to Chandos Construction Job sites.
Knowledge and use of tools, equipment and materials such as jack hammers, drills, pumps, compressors, and power tools
Pick orders as required through Tool Request Forms, or walk-in and phone-in requests
Load, unload and identify tools and equipment and distribute them to the appropriate locations within the warehouse
Complete outgoing and incoming inspections of equipment
Responsible for general housekeeping in the warehouse, storage yard and external yard/shop
Qualifications
Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean drivers abstract is required
Experience in operation of larger vehicles and securing loads is an asset
Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
Knowledge of workplace safety, and safe lifting and handling procedures
Familiar with driving in the city
Able to operate required trucks and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Requires ability to climb ladders and lift heavy objects
