Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling of goods and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires proficiency in various warehouse tasks, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and heavy equipment operation.

Duties



Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and reach trucks to load and unload materials. Perform order picking and packing duties to prepare products for shipment. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in documentation and inventory counts. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and order fulfillment practices. Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly with heavy equipment operation. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. A proactive attitude towards safety practices and procedures in the workplace. Requirements:



Valid driver's license with a

clean driver's abstract

.

No criminal record.

Physically capable of lifting up to

75 lbs

. Strong sense of urgency and excellent attention to detail. Positive attitude, good communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a

fast-paced environment

. Experience operating small equipment or towing trailers is an asset Must have your own vehicle -- no bus access near the work location.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
