Duties & Responsibilities:

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including furniture and restaurant supply repairs in our warehouse, to ensure our facilities and equipment remain in top condition. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Inspect and troubleshoot issues in buildings, equipment, and fixtures. Conduct minor renovations, painting, and drywall repairs as needed. Repair and restore furniture and restaurant supply equipment in the warehouse. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete larger projects. Keep inventory of tools and supplies, ordering replacements when necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Requirements

Proven experience as a handyperson or in a similar maintenance role. Strong knowledge of

plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication and teamwork skills. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in maintenance-related fields are a plus. Ability to lift and move heavy items as required (up to 50 lbs.).
