Summary The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. The Warehouse Worker must load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting up to 25 kgs, and use any necessary equipment, e.g. lift truck, forklift, etc. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for some assembly with the use of hands tools and machines as required with accuracy and efficiency. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. This position is ideal for students or seasonal workers. Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Be a great Team Member who can also work independently.
• Prepare materials for shipment within daily and weekly deadlines.
• Match incoming products with purchase orders and outgoing product with shipping orders.
• Operate a Forklift or Pallet Jack in a safe manner to move received product.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• May lift cases of product and/or stock merchandise according to documented procedures.
• Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
• Complete regular secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Check product inventory levels to reports and conduct regular test counts.
• Sort and distribute incoming shipments.
• Follow current standards and all company operating procedures.
• Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
• Comfortable using computers to update and maintain product status and information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or Post Secondary Education or Trade
• Ability to learn and work safely in a team environment.
• Some agricultural with livestock or building construction or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting up to 25 kgs.
• Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Valid driver\'s license and good driving record.
• Ability to weigh and measure items.
• Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
• Computer literacy, including using Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Attention to detail in all areas of work.
• Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Working Conditions

• Manual dexterity required to use hand tools and light machinery.
• Lifting or moving up to 25 kgs may be required.
• Work is performed in a combination of environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship, Contract, Permanent Salary: From $16.50 to $20.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations:
