Warehouse, Delivery, and Merchandising Supervisor

in Alberta, you'll play a key role in logistics, inventory management, delivery distribution, merchandising, and people management. You'll implement company policies, train and develop team members, and ensure both operational and merchandising standards are met across Alberta.

Reporting directly to the

DSD Operations Manager

, your responsibilities will include:

Operations & Delivery:



Lead teams of

Delivery and Merchandising team members

and Warehouse personnel to meet all-time, quality, and safety goals. Track and record products according to company policies. Oversee loading and unloading of products safely and efficiently. Manage preventative maintenance, servicing, and safety standards of the delivery fleet. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products within your geographic area. Handle administrative duties such as stock counts, returns, order paperwork, and issuing credits. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Merchandising:

Ensure product appearance, display, and supply levels meet brand and sales standards across Alberta locations. Work with store staff to ensure correct shelf placement, rotation, and replenishment. Take pride in representing Portofino Bakery to customers, demonstrating strong relationship-building and merchandising skills. Identify merchandising opportunities to improve product visibility and sales.
People Management:

Recruit, onboard, and train

Delivery and Merchandising team members

and warehouse staff. Monitor attendance, scheduling, and timekeeping to ensure coverage and operational efficiency. Support team development through coaching, feedback, and performance management. Foster a positive, safety-conscious, and inclusive work environment. Address people-related issues, conflicts, or performance concerns in alignment with company policies.
Team Leadership & Development:

Lead by example, modeling company values and standards for both operations and merchandising. Support process improvement initiatives and encourage team participation in continuous improvement. Address operational or merchandising challenges promptly and effectively.
Other Duties:

Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the growth of our Alberta operations.

The Ingredients You Bring to the Table:



Strong time management skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Keen attention to detail, with a strong eye for merchandising. Previous driving experience (commercial driving experience is a bonus). Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract for the past 5 years. Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills. Experience in people management, including training, scheduling, and attendance monitoring. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with the company. Commitment to upholding company policies, compliance, and quality standards. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
