Position Warehouse Clerk Location Copper Mountain Mine is located near the town of Princeton, British Columbia at the center of the scenic Similkameen Valley. Princeton is a community-oriented town with a diverse offering of activities, especially for those who love the outdoors. Princeton is also in close proximity to both the city of Vancouver and the Okanagan. Summary Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Clerk is responsible for providing supply chain support to the Mine and Mill Operations departments to ensure the timely delivery of parts and materials required to support production at the Copper Mountain mine site. Key Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Performs physical inventory counts and stock adjustments of all warehouse stock items, \xc2\xb7 Identifies, confirms, and receives all incoming materials, \xc2\xb7 Unloads freight using a forklift, \xc2\xb7 Identifies part number corrections, changes, or additions, \xc2\xb7 Assists personnel with the location and identification of parts, \xc2\xb7 Ensure that stock shelves are maintained in a neat and orderly condition, \xc2\xb7 Daily housekeeping activities such as cleaning, sweeping and garbage removal, \xc2\xb7 Processes warehouse issues, \xc2\xb7 Runs various reports and assists in basic warehousing activities, \xc2\xb7 Fill propane cylinders for end-use departments, \xc2\xb7 Makes certain that warehouse, yards, and outbuildings are maintained in a neat and orderly condition, \xc2\xb7 Performs other responsibilities as required or as assigned by the department head. Education & Experience \xc2\xb7 High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED), \xc2\xb7 Forklift certification preferred, \xc2\xb7 Propane filling certification preferred, \xc2\xb7 Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience coordinating the flow of parts and materials in a fast-paced industrial Warehouse/Industrial environment, \xc2\xb7 Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, \xc2\xb7 Experienced in IBM Maximo work order and procurement process is considered an asset, \xc2\xb7 Possess a valid Class 5/7N British Columbia driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and have access to personal transportation. Required Skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills, \xc2\xb7 Have high regard for personal safety and the safety of company property and employees, \xc2\xb7 Practices safe work behaviours and supports the Copper Mountain Mine safety culture, \xc2\xb7 Proven ability to be effective in a fast-paced or high-paced, dynamic, multi-tasking work environment, \xc2\xb7 Details and results-oriented with the ability to multi-task, and adhere to deadlines, \xc2\xb7 Adept to work efficiently and with minimal supervision, \xc2\xb7 Ability to work collaboratively with other team members in a positive manner, \xc2\xb7 Required to meet pre-employment testing requirements.
