Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced setting to support our company's logistics and distribution processes.

Duties

Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality. Organize and store inventory systematically to facilitate easy retrieval and stock management. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specified guidelines. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the warehouse area. Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies or damages promptly. Assist with loading outgoing shipments onto trucks or delivery vehicles. Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.

Skills

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to operate warehouse machinery safely; prior experience with forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus. Physical stamina to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. Good communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation. Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for success in this role.
