We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. This role involves handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, familiarity with forklift operation, and a commitment to safety standards. Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Perform order picking and ensure accurate inventory handling. Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including verifying orders and preparing items for shipment or storage. Conduct heavy lifting tasks, moving materials and products throughout the warehouse as needed. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure proper functioning. Support warehouse distribution activities, including pallet jack operation and materials handling for construction or industrial projects if required. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize operational workflows and improve safety practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related roles within a warehouse environment. Valid certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts Mechanical knowledge relevant to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment processes. Prior experience in shipping & receiving operations is advantageous. Warehouse supervisor experience or construction background is a plus but not required. This role is vital for maintaining smooth warehouse operations through safe handling of materials and efficient equipment use.
