Job Description

We are looking for currently looking for individuals who work well on a team with ability to take direction, as much as they can work independently and show initiative. Must be hard-working and mature with great attendance and punctuality. We offer full-time hours with the opportunity for permanent year-round work. On-the-job training.

Terms of Employment: Temporary 3 month positions, Full Time Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week). There is an opportunity for this position to become full time permanent.

Salary: Competitive salary

Must have own transportation

Work Setting: Warehouse

Expected Contributions

Unloads safely and promptly from delivery trucks, and properly places in the warehouse

Accurately, efficiently, and safely picks and assembles customer orders

Processes receiving tallies and packing slips without delay

Assists customers by loading orders onto delivery trucks

Conducts spot inventory counts

Receives and restocks inventory returns

Maintains a clean and organized warehouse

Light manufacturing and assembly of products

Adheres to all work safety rules and regulations

Adheres to customer service commitments

Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to stand, bend, twist, lift, carry, etc. on a regular basis

Ability to multi-task and get all jobs done effectively and promptly

Loading/unloading freight from trucks manually, and using pallet jack

Other warehouse duties as required

Basic Computer Knowledge required

Previous manufacturing/warehouse experience is an asset

Forklift experience/operator license is an asset

Good communication skills

Good knowledge of basic math

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
