### Description
Responsible for safe operation of manufacturing equipment but may also assist with the handling and processing of warehouse work orders, purchase orders, and sales orders; transporting inventory; and maintaining stock in warehouse.### Key Responsibilities
• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.
• Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Operates a pallet jack to transport inventory, unload and load trucks.
• Operates manufacturing machinery and follows safety procedures to eliminate injuries.
• Performs quality checks on stock items to report defects or damage.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
### Skills Knowledge and Expertise
• Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is:
•Continually• required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 lbs.; and grip with hand or fingers.
