Role: Warehouse Associate

About the opportunity



Canadawide Sports is currently seeking reliable and engaged individuals to join our team of Warehouse Associates. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager and our ideal candidate will be trustworthy, hands-on, and willing to work together to provide our customers with the products and services they expect.






This role is based in St. George, ON, Canada.



Straight days, Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm





Responsibilities


Pick customer order items and package them for same day shipments. Load outbound courier and trailer shipments. Unload shipments from suppliers, ensuring quality and accuracy of receipts. Verify and document the quantity and condition of goods shipped. Ensure orders are packaged and booked in adherence to specific customer requirements. Organize and maintain warehouse, including proper housekeeping and cleaning, maintaining tools and equipment, and assuring warehouse operates in a safe and efficient manner.

Minimum Requirements


High school diploma or equivalent experience. Works well independently and has strong time management. Demonstrates accuracy and efficiency in their daily tasks. Capable of frequent heavy lifting up to 50 - 70 lbs. Capable of repetitive work including bending, twisting and reaching, while following safety procedures.

Additional Valued Skills


Previous manufacturing and/or warehouse experience. Valid forklift/reach truck operator certification.
