Job Summary


We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, along with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Duties



Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Accurately print, pick and pack orders according to company and customer requirements Maintain inventory accuracy through proper labeling, storage, and recordkeeping Perform inventory counts and assist in cycle counts or audits Assist with shipping and receiving procedures, including loading and unloading trucks and containers, using hand bombing, manual or powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) Prepare daily routes for drivers Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organization of products Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) , especially for food inventory Adhere to all food safety, handling, and sanitation requirements Support mechanical maintenance tasks as needed, demonstrating basic mechanical knowledge Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency Assist in construction or assembly tasks related to warehouse setup or modifications when required Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve productivity and quality goals.

Skills



Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment preferred. Proficiency with forklift operation and safety protocols (Certificate is a plus) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks for extended periods Knowledge of stock control, picking & packing, shipping & receiving procedures Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic construction or maintenance tasks Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work independently or as part of a team
