Warehouse Associate
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently picking and loading potato chip purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery to our customers. You will also play a vital role in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment. Effective communication with carrier companies will be essential to coordinate shipments and manage inventory levels. Responsibilities:
Efficiently pick and load potato chip purchase orders according to order specifications and customer requirements.
Organize and rotate stock to maintain inventory accuracy and product freshness.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
Communicate with carrier companies to coordinate shipments, provide load information, and schedule pickups/deliveries.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper storage.
Qualifications / Requirements
High attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills must be able to adapt to a continually changing environment, willing to further train in sanitation practices, food safety, and related disciplines.
Basic Computer Knowledge
Preferred Skills and Traits
Proven ability and willingness to learn, dependable and reliable, able to follow direction, positive attitude, can work well with others, attention to detail.
Hours of Work
Monday - Friday possible weekend shift as needed
8:00am-4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.55 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
