Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that inventory is managed effectively and that products are prepared for shipping and receiving. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including inventory management and materials handling.

Duties

Operate various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, and pallet jacks, to facilitate the movement of goods. Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, packaging products, and preparing orders for delivery. Assist with stocking shelves and organizing products within the warehouse for optimal accessibility. Follow OHSA safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to improve operational efficiency and workflow processes. Participate in order fulfillment activities by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with familiarity in areas such as inventory management, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including forklifts, and pallet jacks. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and best practices in materials handling. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job duties. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order picking and packing processes.
