Job Description

Receiving Shipments: Unload incoming shipments, verify their contents against purchase orders, and inspect for any damages or discrepancies. Inventory Management: Organize and store products in the stockroom according to company standards, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper labeling. Operating Equipment: Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move and organize goods. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards, following safety regulations and housekeeping procedures. Quality Control: Inspect products for damage, expiration dates, or defects, and report any issues to supervisors. Inventory Audits: Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate records of stock levels and report discrepancies. Loading and Unloading Vehicles: Assist drivers in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring that items are packed properly and handled with care. Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. Collaborating with Team Members: Work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily goals, solve problems, and improve efficiency. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and handling hazardous materials if necessary. * Other duties as required.
